In the Fracttal warehouses module, various types of adjustments can be made to item stocks. These types are described below:
- Initial Inventory: This corresponds to the initial movement in the warehouse, where the first movement history in the warehouse is established and recorded. Ideally, this stage is used for the bulk import of resources through Excel spreadsheets, as this import can only be done once, similar to the initial inventory (these processes can only be executed once in the system, before any warehouse movements are recorded).
- Inventory Adjustment: This type of movement allows adjustments to be made to both the cost and quantities of existing items in the warehouse.
- Physical Inventory Count: This type of movement allows adjustments to be made only to quantities, without modifying the average unit cost of existing items.
Note: It is important to mention that the unit costs of items within the warehouses are valued based on the average costs of entry.
To make any type of adjustment in a warehouse, go to inventory and then expand the menu options located at the top right of the screen.
Then you should select the type of adjustment you wish to make by clicking on the respective option. This action will put the system into edit mode (when an adjustment is made, the main warehouse menu is temporarily locked until the process is completed).
Once the system enters edit mode, you can select the item you wish to modify and make the corresponding changes.
Finally, once the adjustments to the items in question are made, you should expand the menu and click on "Finish Process" to exit edit mode in the warehouse.
